Description
I fell in love with this canvas. It was an immediate appreciation of the female form in all its glory. There is no face, no personality, just pure feminine lines.
Inspired by the lines, I used a zentangle technique to enhance the shapes of the female form – lengthening the neck, strengthening the jawline, defining the cheekbones, softening the shoulder. Feeling the canvas, allowing the canvas to be my guide.
Technique: Handpainting – acrylic paint on ceramic vase base. Satin varnish finish.
